This website is the love I have for the 47th New York Infantry Volunteers, It began over 35 years ago when I was intrigued with re-inacting and while living in the heart of Florida, I bagan my search, desiring to be a full time US soldier, I found the 47th NY Co. K group. I was welcomed and began my journey into my new hobby.

Soon my hobby became an obsession with everything and began my quest to become the historian of the Orifinal 47th NY. This has taken me years to gather the information I have, and I had to share it with the world, perhaps you are just interested, perhaps you are searching to see if you had a family member in the unit, Intrested in the 47th, or just wanting to learn.
